Amos Tutuola was born in Abeokuta, Nigeria, in 1920.

Amos Tutuola was born in Abeokuta, Nigeria, in 1920. His first novel, The Palm-Wine Drinkard, was acquired by T. S. Eliot and published by Faber in 1952.
