Overview
On the surface, Hawkins, Indiana seems like the kind of town where nothing too out of the ordinary ever happens, but in the fall of ''83 two hunters head out into the woods with their rifles and a six-pack, and find themselves the prey of a nightmarish beast. When Barb Holland goes missing, Murray Bauman is on the case if only he can look past his own suspicious mind to solve the case. Robin Buckley''s school film project gives her a chance to work with her secret crush, but does it only make it harder to come to terms with her feelings? And when pumpkins start inexplicably rotting, the feud between two farm families reaches a boiling point. Joining Houser on her visit to Hawkins are artist Caio Filipe (Stranger Things: Summer Special, Nightwing), Sunando C (End After End), Giorgia Gio Esposito (Lunar Room, Dr. Who) colourist Dan Jackson (The Strain, Hellboy: Weird Tales), and letterer Nate Piekos (The Umbrella Academy, Black Hammer). Collects Stranger Things: Tales from Hawkins issues 1-4.
